Dofus Wikia or Dofus Wiki or Wiki Dofus (how ever you want to name it) is a English language, web-based, free content encyclopedia project. Dofus wikia is written collaboratively by volunteers players from all around the world. With rare exceptions, its articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the edit this page link.

In every article, links will guide you to associated articles, often with additional information. You are welcome to add further information, cross-references, or citations, so long as you do so within Dofus wikia's editing policies and to an appropriate standard. You do not need to fear accidentally damaging Dofus wikia when you add or improve information, as other editors are always around to advise or correct obvious errors, if needed, and the Dofus wikia encyclopedia software, known as MediaWiki, is carefully designed to allow easy reversal of editorial mistakes.

Because Dofus wikia is an on-going work to which in principle anybody can contribute, it differs from a paper-based reference source in some very important ways. In particular, older articles tend to be more comprehensive and balanced, while newer articles may still contain significant misinformation, unencyclopedic content, or vandalism. Users need to be aware of this in order to obtain valid information and avoid misinformation which has been recently added and not yet removed. However, unlike a paper reference source, Dofus wikia is completely up-to-date, with articles on topical events being created or updated within minutes or hours, rather than months or years for printed encyclopedias.

If you have not done so, we invite you to take a few moments to read What Dofus wikia is (and is not), so that you have an understanding of how to use, rely upon, or contribute to Dofus wikia as you continue. Further information on key topics can be found below. If you can't find what you are looking for, try the Frequently Asked Questions or see Where to ask questions. About Dofus[edit]

(this section must be move else where, as Dofus namespace is for information related to the administration of the project and not about the project) Dofus is an Massively Multiplayer Online Tactical Game (aka MMOTG, the first, actually) designed by Ankama Studios, a French computer video game manofacturer. It is plays like a MMORPG. Though the game was initially launched in France, the game has now been opened to an English audience. The official website for the game is www.dofus.com

Its success led to the marketing of by-products, like books, and with the development of two continuations: Dofus Arena, a tactical online multiplayer game, released at the beginning of 2006, it is an alternative "tournament" of Dofus; Wakfu which is currently in preparation and should leave at the end of 2007.

Originally was just in French language, but now is in English, Spanish and German too.

It a game pay to play (P2P) game but has a Free to play (F2P) policy that has lots of restrictions: Only limited area in Astrub, etc.
